Fishing in the Beautiful Florida Everglades

Chris Esslinger and his son enjoyed a beautiful couple of days fishing in the Florida Everglades with some pretty heavy weight fly rods. Look at what came out of the water!

Take this one to the French Quarter!

Our good friend and client Scott Dozier caught this gorgeous 36 pound Black Drum in the Gulf near New Orleans. Scott, I hope you took this guy to the parade afterwards-- what a catch to show your friends!

Laissez le bon temps rouler!

Hilton Head Fish-A-Palooza!

Dave Chambless of Abraxas Business Services joined Chris Clayton, Ross Mackenzie and Kevin Hendren in Hilton Head last week and came back with many "tails." Many fish were caught. Many Bloody Marys were poured. See for yourself!

Admiral Chris Clayton shows off a monster bull red!

It's a cold day at sea, right Kevin?! He says it's always
important to take care of his delicate skin!

Not to be outdone, Ross lands this bull red fish!

Our intrepid crew searches for the great white whale that took Chris' leg.

Admiral Clayton fighting a bull shark-- get him, Chris!

Bloody Marys, sunshine, water and a nap go really well together!

This one almost got away!

Like the hat, Ross!

Time to rest!

That's Kevin's "big" catch of the day

Fishing for a Cause Tastes Good!

Rusty Bramlett and friends took a road trip to Steinhatchee a few weeks back to attend a Wounded Warriors' benefit. They headed out on the boat early ready for a day of fishing. Rusty and his crew had trouble finding redfish and trout, but WOW the Cobia and Kings were takin' the bait and filled the cooler!

Holy King Mackerel-- that's a lot of fish!

This beautiful Cobia is a whopping 43 inches long!

Nothing like fresh fish from the grill with homemade ceviche!

After a day on the water, Rusty and friends relaxed to live music from The Kentucky Headhunters at The Good Time Hotel & Marina.  Rusty, thank you for sharing the before and after shots. Hungry anyone?
